Blunderbuss

A very early version of a shotgun. It typically has a much wider barrel than other Flintlock firearms, and the barrel is also flared at the muzzle, opening outwards. The Blunderbuss can shoot ball ammunition at a much shorter range than other Flintlock firearms, but can also be used to fire Scatter Shot ammunition, causing an area of effect attack.
