The Orderstorm strikes (approximate date)
The Temple Massacre inflames tensions between the Kingdom and the Theocracy
The hill tribes unite under a Hagorn, a charismatic werewolf warlord, and begin raiding outside their traditional lands, largely to the farming villages to the south. Alarmed, the Diarchy launches a pre-emptive war and conquers the lands now known as Mulebridge and Ruthertown, the hill tribe coalition collpases witht he battlefield death of Hagorn and surrender soon follows. The lead general, Abrahm Ruther, is made the first Lord of Ruthertown.
The southern lands of the newly formed Lordship of Ruthertown are split off to create a Lordship for the King's lover.
Steadily increasing demands for dues cause the Lord of Ruthertown to marshall the Armies of the North in defiance of the King. The rugged terrain of Ruthertown greatly slows force movements and there are few actual military engagements, those that did happen generally takin place in the plains around Mulebridge. The conflict ends with the death of the King and his, more capable, nephew assumign the throne and negotiating a peace.
Started largely as military adventurism, the anticipated quick victory and conquest of the desert Sin tribes grinds to a halt due to inept leadership. The situation is resolved when the Armies of the South march northwards to relieve and Lord Haverford takes control. The Treaty of Incorporation soon follows and Kirasin and Tir Fasin become the two newest Lordships.
