Paul Rickard
Paul Rickard is a talented rookie detective, from a notably affluent family based in Sydney's northwest. Paul was one of the highest-rated recruits, and was fast-tracked into the ranks of detectives due to his insight and leadership qualities.
He received plenty of support from his family, and as a teenager was taken under the wing of his Aunt Mallory, a successful author and philanthropist, yet she is also a woman of mystery who apparently spends a lot of time travellng.
During his time at the Academy, Paul was instrumental in forming a social & academic group within the recruits, the Eagle 18s. The group gets together occasionally even after being posted to different precincts, and share knowledge when the opportunity arises. As a rookie cop, he caught the eye of Captain John L. Packard, who shares his wisdom over cups of tea, although Paul secretly prefers coffee.
Paul had an easy way in to the Aeon Society due to the Rickard family connection, but he has dedicated himself to helping keep disadvantaged people off the streets through short-term housing projects. Paul's only problem at the moment is the lack of complications. Everything seems too simple..
