Creation of the Cosmos

Long ago, before dirt and living things, there was nothing. Then, in the dark abyss, a window formed. A window into another place far from this dark place.   Appearing from this window were the Gods, ancient creatures of limitless power.   Many years past after the window closing, and the Gods looked over the darkness and seeing it as safe, started creating a singular body.   A world to hold thier creations and themselves.   They formed this place into two layers, one for themselves and one for the creations to come.   As they formed all of creation together, they created opposites on this world.   Good and Bad, Chaos and Order, Light and Dark.   They filled this new world with every imaginable entity and creation, but little did even the gods know that forces so powerful, so close together cannot be bound singularly.   As they created this utopia, the world started to shudder at ever new creation.   It became worse and worse as their creations started to suffer from such power and the urge for them to split apart.   Convinced this would destroy their creations, the Gods in their wisdom retreated to their realm deep within this world, and started to focus their power inside of their realm.   As the power grew within this world, it began to glow a brilliant heavenly light. The glow burst out from within, cutting the world into several individual worlds and planetary bodies with the center of them being this glowing orb, and sending them out into space.   Once the world was separated the Gods reached out and pulled back in all the planets that they needed to circle around them in this celestial occurrence.   There are still bodies unknown that some believe the Gods did not wish to posses in this revolving world, out in the darkness waiting for their secrets to be rediscovered.
