Creation of Tampath

Long ago, before the trees and distant mountains, there was fire and death. The world boiled and bubbled, and peace was not to be found. Then the god, Igdite, reached out past the light and laid hands upon our world. With that touch, the harsh landscape turned soft and green. Grass begat trees and trees to forests. The bubbling and boiling cooled to form riverbeds.   2 tears were shed by Igdite over the beauty and pain. One tear filled the lakes, rivers and oceans of the world. The other dropped on land, sprouting countless living creatures.   Among these creatures were the Elves and the Forest Folk. One was tasked by Igdite to protect and the other to encourage Nature in every way possible.   Before Igdite left back to the realm of the gods, it kissed the forest covering the world, imbuing the magic of the gods on the forest as a whole to do as it felt it should.   It is said, that if you stand in the center of the forest and you feel a kiss on your cheek that you are blessed by Igdite and should build your home where you stand.
