Oraillion Strait

The open area between the north Western island chain. The preferred and fastest route from Hiverton to Thorus/Halion is through this point. Has the additional benefit of providing additional shelter from the crossings rough seas.
Due to it being a consistent point of travel of many vessels it is quite often the point where pirates and Privateers roam.
Spanning roughly a mile across of fairly deep waterway it's flanked by two small islands and their surrounding reef leaving the distance of the straight at around 4 miles.
On the North side a small bay into the island called Haven, is a familiar and happy site to sailors of the region. The bay with it's high rock cliffs and large barrier reef make it the perfect place to wait out a storm in safety.
However it has also become the ambush site if many vessels, as it is almost impossible to view into the bay from the strait
