Kurri Zo Karrash

Daughter of the long-standing Mayor of Wayward Roost, Krabash Zo Kurr, Kurri has always been keenly aware of the importance of serving her community. She has been lucky in some ways, brought up in one of the most stable towns in Detritus, to a life that has always been comfortable. However, she has seen tragedy too: her mother, Oksa Zo Karrash, died when she was twelve. Krabash almost gave up the position of Mayor out of grief and to ensure that Kurri was not second in his life, but when a devastasting planequake hit Detritus, it was clear even to young Kurri that her father was needed, not only by the people of Wayward Roost, but by those who were affected across the plane. It was Kurri herself who talked Krabash into retaining the position of Mayor so he could do the most good.
Since then, Kurri has spent her time championing causes, from the miners of the Glass Mountains who needed support in unionising, to the often-unseen plight of the Native Detritans and the magically-touched races unique to this plane. She has stood up to her own father in debates and campaigns, and while many consider her too loud and impatient for her own good, Kurri has attracted admiration for her determination. Now that Krabash is considering not standing again for the position of Mayor, Kurri feels that she must stand, if only because she believes that the other candidate, Nenyo, will be a bad thing for the town.
