The other type of intelligent inhabitants of Transmarinae. They are just like normal people, no special power other than their minds. They suffer a lot of prejudice from arcanes, many saying that they are an outdated version of what mortals should be. Even though racism is illegal in every country of the continent, it is still very hard for non-arcanes to find jobs that are not ill paid, or something other than farming, warehouse and mining.

Historical Figures

One example of a huge historical figure, is the writer Angelus D'anconia, a writer from the country of Laurentis, which wrote the famous series of books "Gaia Chronicles", in which tells the story of a world where no one has magical powers, and the protagonists must overcome their hardships with their minds and strengths alone.
