Arcane

The main sentient species of the plane. It makes about 80% of the population of the plane, and its main characteristic is that it is able to produce spells from their connection to the mana pool. This connection is translated to the tattoos on the arms of arcanes, their defining characteristic.

Civilization and Culture

History

Not much information is out there from when exactly arcanes are, or how they were born, but the earliest record of a spell beeing used was found by historians on a papirus, describing a spell for producing light orbs. But it is known by all arcanes, that the mark of their supremacy is the "marking", or the tattoos in their arms. The forms are different for every arcane, and the collor they glow as a spell is performed is also different for every arcane.
