The Erinyes

The Furies of Mars, The Erinyes. Clad in feathered masks, leather, and swords, they will bring retribution to Mars.

Public Agenda

The Erinyes are a group of rebels who have made headlines in Elysium in recent years. They wish to take the riches of Elysium and give them back to the people who the wealth rightfully belongs to. Although their protests and actions began as peaceful and nonviolent, recent events and change in leadership has lead them to become armed and violent.

History

There is little known about The Erinyes. The masked group first surfaced in 2130 as orchestrators of mass protests against Elysium's withdrawal from the United Earth Alliance, which granted many protections to citizens from corporations. 
Their presence died down for several years, only the occasional sighting. In 2165, they resurfaced again and with a sharper edge. Their target was Celestial and the Mars Republic Party, classified information having leaked a year prior that exposed the cover-up of several direct deaths at their hands. The Erinyes began to loot Celestial supplies and physically assault employees.
