Traevas

Traevas is a fairly young world in comparison to the previous of the prime material plane. It is only in its second iteration, having been plunged into chaos and archaism by a cataclysmic event only once so far. New deities have taken power as the old have passed into the history books of the extra planar.   Currently, the world is thriving. Technology and magic are brimming, and for the most part, the world is full of joy and peace. There are many adventures to be had as both young and old scour the world for treasure and for ruins of the past.   The land is littered with kingdoms, free peoples, anarchy, and other such governments. Factions ranging all across the spectrum of good and evil, work behind the scenes progressing their own agendas.   Yet, goodness abounds and those who would stand against the tides of darkness and treachery are always to be found. Those who are brave enough and strong enough to survive the challenges before them may rise to great power, through physical, magical, political or a number of other means.   Yet there are always those who would stand against the goodness and light. Intrigue and treachery are always lurking around corners, being influenced by gods, the underworlds, or the greed of the living. Wherever the light is found, there are always pockets of darkness that exits. Shadows hidden just from sight.   Where will you stand? Will you be a champion of light and goodness? Or would you see the world plunged in darkness and destruction? This is your story and the world is just beyond your doorstep.
