Test of Kings

At the time of the One King’s death, his Secret Princes are magically transported to the castle in Jalar to rule jointly until a new king is selected. At the same time, a magical Calling goes out and candidates of all races, genders, and ages are drawn to the castle for the Test of Kings. A flaming crown glows in the sky above the castle until a new king is chosen.
When all candidates have arrived, the Room of Decision opens and the candidates enter to face the Test of Kings. One candidate is chosen by the gods as the One King. Two others are chosen as Secret Princes, bonded to their new King by the gods to serve and protect with love, respect, and honor.
