Tortuga

Mother of all life, caretaker of her gardens, the land of her children. Tortuga is wife and lover of her husband Eugene, who helped mold us to our form to want and need. He found her in his home, a cluster of stars floating in the dark with no motive or will. He went to her when she was all but flame and hell and held out his hand, and they talked. she had never spoken before as no other would speak to her, it was odd, speaking... to have a voice and never use it was saddening. She liked it.   And so they talked for a lifetime on the resolving flow of the Nox star. Slowly turning around a lamp of light and pain. She didn't want it to end, her only friend could leave at any moment, therefor she opend a suggestion. Marriage. She would bear his children upon herself and Eugene could stay at the center, twirling her about as they danced. How could he decline the offer? To make life and make his own farther proud. So they consummated their love with Eugene's children who Tortuga took upon herself. She grew her hair what became the grass, her tears of joy cooled Her skin to make stone and sand and to fill the cracks with sea. Now her children could live happy and think.   And now here we stand, on her flesh what has no warmth, her oceans only heated by Beasts that are forever tormented with life. We are given a question to answer so we might come closer to our parents. what is our future? To leave our parents or to meet those too high when we are so low?
