Ralsder City

Ralsder City is one of the three cities on the southern edge of the region, and is the westernmost of those three. It sits right next to the Spine of the World, and is a crucial step to the trade routes of the south. Ralsder city is the region's primary fuel producer, and exports coal and oil to Hadrib city by way of Guepi.

Industry & Trade

Ralsder is the region's largest exporter of coal and oil, which Hadrib city can always use more of. In addition, Ralsder city is situated perfectly to facilitate trade between Nelloda city and the rest of the region, providing unique art and strange foods.

Infrastructure

Ralsder is a mining town. Situated right against the Spine of the World, the people have carved tunnels into the rock from which to extract coal and ores. Several refineries can be found against the sides of the Spine, ideally positioned for miners to drop off their haul as they leave. Instead of using the fuel they produce, the city gets most of its power from a series of waterwheels, since Tyson is big on renewable energy.

Districts

Right up against the Spine of the World is the mining district, where most of the city lives and works. Slightly further are the refineries, where those who aren't brave or physically fit enough to dig can still serve the city by processing the extracted material. Further than that are the waterwheels, where the city generates its power.

Points of interest

The Gym here is deep in the mines, a cavern of blue stone with water dripping from the ceiling. In fact, the battle arena is located directly under the city's largest waterwheel, so that the heat Tyson generates can be used as steam for more power. The dripping water and overall dampness of the cavern leads to constant steam, and actually locating Tyson and his Pokémon through it is part of the challenge.

If pushed to his limits or just pissed off enough, Tyson reveals his trump card and heats up the room. This has the effect of massively increasing the steam, even causing damage to people inside it, and superheating the walls and floor to force his opponents to stay on the move.
