Guepi City

Guepi City is one of three situated on the southern edge of the region, and is the northmost of those three. It used to be an industrial heartland, but a lack of regulations made pollution a huge issue. The forest on two sides of the city has become extremely toxic, and the ecosystem is heavily damaged. Where once many different types of Pokémon could be found, only Koffing and Grimer now make their homes.

Infrastructure

The city, if you could call it that, is primarily factories and apartments. Since the abandonment of the factories in response to public outcry, the city is almost entirely abandoned.

Districts

At the edges of the city are the factories' dumping grounds. Heaps of trash and stinking pools of sludge are commonplace, and the few trees that remain are sickly and mutated. The factories themselves are huge and silent, and oddly cold. According to the information brochure, the machines were powered by a reactor in the deepest parts, and since it was never properly shut off the buildings should be sweltering by now. The apartments are old and crumbling, but weren't that high quality even when newly constructed. The city's new inhabitants construct their own shelters around the bases of the apartments instead of staying in them.

Guilds and Factions

When the factory owners left, the environmental activists moved in. Right now, various groups are putting in a huge reconstruction effort to remove the pollution, headed by Nora of the Elite Four.
