Lightning Rail

From Ar'ia City to Darin-Holt and down along the edge of The Crag, a vast train line runs supplies and troops at incredible speeds and efficiency. An engineering marvel from the land of Khorvaire, the Lightning Rail is capable of transporting hundreds of tons of cargo in a very quick time. Though the Lightning Rail needs to be set up with quite an undertaking of infrastructure, once it is set, it works like a charm. A train car system is levitated through engineering and magical prowess above a railroad. The train levitates and hovers propelling itself at high speeds without any friction from below the train is capable of moving in this way. Not feasible for the every-day consumer the Lightning Rail can be expensive to run and has currently been mostly used for higher ranking nobles who can afford to buy a ticket, and for military transfers of personnel and supplies.
