Tirithel

1402 PTW

Created by

A continent rich in natural resources, magical entities, and secrets about the world and its creation. These secrets are what caused conflict within the council of Tirithel, each faction demanding to know secrets may it be immortality, eternal peace, the true meaning of justice, and the world's beginning itself. This conflict would later resolve when the gods themselves intervened and laid upon the mortals, a king to lead and council them. These leaders would later be called as godsends, the chosen ones to lead Tirithel and keep it from repeating its dark history. The lineage of the godsends continue on via prophetic readings by each next of kin and would continue for as long as a godsend breathes.

Present Day

Years past, and a now divided Tirithel still prosper in peace. Factions built up the foundations of Tirithel:
  • Gothorne, a faction built from the ground by their strong moral beliefs and an unquenchable thirst for justice and righteousness. Gothorne serves as the law keepers of Tirithel, observing criminal activities and acting upon those who dare harm its citizens.
  • Imlar, a militaristic civilization known for their adept knowledge in combat and defense. They are in charge of Tirithel's defense against foreign invaders, and just like the volcanic biome their faction resides in, they are ruthless and often unforgiving to those who stand in their way.
  • Arel, a faction founded atop mountainous peaks, they are devout followers of religion and they associate their closeness to the skies as closeness to the heavenly plane their gods reside in.
  • Doriande, a pacifist nation residing in the beautiful, serene mountain bases of Tevasa. They believe in oneness with nature and as such, rarely enter in political affairs. Their strong distaste for conflict also extends to their unwillingness to act upon gaining peace. As they value the importance of inner peace more than external peace.
  •
  • Marithlon, a desert ridden empire that was once the leader of Tirithel prior to the arrival of the godsent. They strive to regain the former glory they lost. However, their greed for power often blocks their path to this.
  •
This peace was to continue on as predicted by the gods... Until, the next heir of the godsend disappeared. Jigurth Nulior, son of Queen Felitia and King Orin disappeared 3 months before his coronation to become the next king of Tirithel.   Desperate to find the prince, Queen Felitia sent armies of adventurers in search of Tirithel's future.
