Uligosymbiosis
Uligosymbiosis also known as Mindlinking, is the process by which two Plasmoids merge their bodies, essentially transforming into a single entity, with two blended consciousnesses. This act is considered incredibly intimate and personal but not necessarily sexual, even if it is required for two Plasmoids to produce an offspring. During Uligosymbiosis all sensations and emotions are shared, and the memories of the two individuals are able to be experienced by both, letting two Plasmoids learn about the history of another, sharing all of themselves with them. These large colonies are also able to support the consciousnesses of diseased Plasmoids within their Uligosymbiosis so long as a sufficient number of Plasmoids remained linked to support the consciousness of the diseased Plasmoid within their minds.
Some Plasmoid colonies are completely joined in a large colony wide Uligosymbiosis sometimes consisting of thousands of members all joined together. These colonies are thus viewed as massively intelligent, and sources of supreme knowledge to those who know of their existence, as it allows all members of the joined colony to act with one will, and one mind. These colonies will sometimes offer their guidance to nearby solid humanoid towns or cities, in return for them feeding the colony, allowing them to exist in Uligosymbiosis without having to break apart for food.
Uligosymbiosis is viewed as an euphoric experience among Plasmoids, and something that is eagerly shared between Plasmoids who know each other well. It is also used when two Plasmoids may be discussing a complex topic, or undergoing a debate, allowing them to understand each other perfectly rather than try to parse out the topic using language. This is also used by individuals who want to show another Plasmoid they have come to trust or love them, opening themselves up to such a intense sharing of emotions, feeling, and memories, is considered an expression of love.
Plasmoids undergoing Uligosymbiosis can also dream together, with the minds of all those joined in Uligosymbiosis contributing to the dream itself, with elements of all of the memories and subconscious making up the result, these dreams also tend to be more coherent and sensible, with many individual consciousnesses all existing in the same dreamscape, the minds shape it to be far less amorphic and fluid compared to regular dreams.
