Blessed spots

Blessed spots are spots scattered throughout the world which temporarily grant the poeple in them power. It is commonly thought that in those places a divine act of the gods had happened which gave the place it's divine blessing. The size and effects of the blessed spots can vary widely. One spot might grant you physical prowess and another one might enhance your durability. Some effects last only a few hours while others may last for weeks.
Blessed spots are popular places for temples and castles to be built. Clerics and Priests have tried to explain the effects of the places through mythology. Certian blessed spots get associated with certain deities.
