Planetouched

Once or twice in each generation a child is born with a touch of a far off plane in their blood. These children, collectively referred to as Planetouched, resemble their parents throughout most of their adolescence when they start to develop physical and magical traits that set them apart.
There are four general types of Planetouched:

• Celestial (Aasimar) - Grey tinged skin, solid color grey-scale eyes
• Elemental (Genasi) - Elemental infused hair, brightly color eyes and skin
• Infernal (Tieflings)- Red or blue skin, horns, rarely a tail
• Outsider (Gith) - Totally white skin, no hair, often exaggerated facial features

For the most part Planetouched take on the attitudes of their parent race, however their rarity often leads to them being somewhat isolated.

Note: Because Planetouched have most of the same physical characteristics of their parent race, its important to identify that as part of making your character. In addition it can help flesh out your characters approach to the world based on how they were raised. Children of small sized races are typically but not necessarily small but they do use their mechanical race's speed.

Planetouched age at the same rate as their parent race

Alignment

Planetouched generally follow the alignment of their parents however their nature also can influence their alignment as follows:

• Aasimar - More disposed to be Good aligned
• Genasi - More disposed to be Lawful aligned
• Tieflings - More disposed to be Evil aligned
• Gith - More disposed to be Chaotic aligned
