Anatomy

The Afria plant largely resembles a plant like aloe vera in our world. Its thick, brown leaves span far and wide and is double the size of its height. However as the plant dies out and its leaves shed, Afnia turns a bright yellow.

Growth Rate & Stages

• Gemrination begins during day 5-10

• The plant rapidly begins to grow within the next 10 days and is said to grow at up to least an arms length in height.

• The height wavers from this point on, the leaves begin to lengthen until it reaches the soil. This takes around 7 days.

• Once the leaves camoufladge into the soil it is ready for picking.

• If it is not picked the plant enters a shedding stage.

• The plant then slowly begins to shrivel and die.

Ecology and Habitats

Afria tends to grow in the far south west of Lament in the dense forest. For this reason it is rarely ever picked so only very few people know about this plant. The plant is known to the Mehir family however as they live a stones throw away from the Anatilli es Lagume, a forest that houses Afria. The plant is said to survive in most temeperatures apart from drought.

Afria are naturally found in the wild and continue to this day to remain in the wild.

Uses, Products & Exploitation

Used for medicine, mainly for accute illness and headaches. Afria is also used as a remedy for elemental withrawral which one may face as a bearer.

Conservation Status

Since this plant resides in the forest it is not protected. If this plant belonged in its historical place of origin it would have been very well looked after by the people of Lykos. However this is not the case and so it is largely left up to mother nature for its survival.
