Knights of Balance

This secretive and long-defunct order of knights kept the peace in Ketal for over one thousand years before the Age of Darkness. They were eventually corrupted, and played a significant role in bringing about the Age of Darkness itself. In modern times, they are often portrayed as the villains in plays and campfire stories.

Disbandment

Little detail is known about the order's disbandment, as few records exist from that time. However, most historians believe that most members were killed in the opening days of the Age of Darkness, and those that remained lost all credibility when their involvement in those events became common knowledge, so the group was formally disbanded shortly after.
