East Empire

The province of East Empire lies on the Argan Empire's eastern coast and is home to its prized port, Amber Harbor. It is blessed with fair weather most of the time which makes its beaches along the southern coast prime vacation spots for weary travelers. Its fair climate makes it an excellent location for vineyards which are very common and dot the countryside.

Geography

East Empire has 2 forests: The Veiled Forest to the northwest that lies on the eastern side of the Steel Mountains and is shrouded in dense fog and mystery, and The Weeping Forest which surrounds the similarly named Weeping Mountains. It is from the Weeping Mountains that East Empire gets its most expensive resource, amber. The Amber River flows from the Weeping Mountains all the way out to sea and it carries vast amounts of amber in its waters which is harvested by the Empire. Amber Harbor was initially founded as a way to market this resource.

Fauna & Flora

East Empire is home to many creatures such as deer, rabbits, squirrels, and other creatures of the woods and plains. Most notably are the wolf packs that populate The Veiled forest and the goblins that inhabit the caves and ruins. The sea is also populated by many creatures such as dolphins, sharks, whales and most famously the God Whale, a whale so large that it causes tidal waves as it surfaces.
