Tia Uran

A planar, flat world. Made up of several continents surrounded by an ice wall. The plane balances on the World Tree, source of all Magick and souls.   Around 5,000 years prior to the events of Neochia, a conflict known as the Drawl Row War ignited within Tia Uran due to the Emphimil.. The war lasted for at least 1,000 years, when finally, Neoch the Hero successfully forged pacts with the Lacrehang and ended the war by causing a great Flood, sealing the Emphimil away. The war, however, caused irreversible damage to the planet's World Tree, the source of the plane's magick, so Neoch became Ran Motet and manipulated space-time, splitting the plane into the separate planes of Tia Uran and Tari Nua, the imprisonment plane of the Emphimil.   Due to the mass depletion of magick, a finite resource, the two worlds became forced to work together in order to create a see saw system of Magick. The Lacrehang constructed a system in which the hourglass planes house an even number of Lacrehang to correlate yet oppose the other planet's Enphimil in an elemental fashion. Through this system, neither plane was able to advance too greatly in technology before succumbing to the opposing plane's accumulation of magick. This aids in deterring the reinvention of magi-technology and a return of war.   In an effort to manage the balance of magick between the two worlds, a new Neoch of the lesser plane embarks on the Journey of World Regeneration to unlock the seals at a series of Watch-Towers. The unlocking of these seals leads to the reversal of the magick links, which in turn, redistributes the flow of mana into the declining world from the more prosperous world, thereby leading to its decline while the lesser world's civilization is given the opportunity to progress forward.   The process is repeated when the flourishing plane grows too advanced technologically, and the opposing world's Enoch ventures on the regeneration journey to reverse the mana links once again.   More than 800 years prior to the events of Neochia, Addshyqi and a band of Enphimil secretly infiltrated the other plane, mating with humans to create the race of Giants. They managed to use this new army of spawn to flip the elemental system and imprison the Lacrehang in the Watch-towers, taking over Tia Uran in secret without a war, and implemented a dark rule over society using censorship and magic. During the events of Neochia, Tia Uran is in the declining state of balance of the magick flow, with its magick being fed to the parallel realm. Similarly, this is the cause for the other plane to have significantly more advanced technology, having had centuries of development and progress due to the higher concentrations of Magick. The Yuan Vetch Ell have managed to preserve the secrets of the Lacrehang, and labor to find the descendant of Neoch in order to rebirth Ran Motet and defeat the Enphimil for good.
