Elf

Elves are an ancient species originating from the Eldyrwode, another realm known to humans as the Feywild.
The Eladrin (First Elves) rule over the great city of Mithrendain within the heart of the Feywild.
High Elves (Aradrin) left their ancestral home in search of riches and glory long ago, losing much of their connection to the Eldyrwode and integrating into human society.
Wood Elves (Taurëdrin) were the first to identify the danger of the connections between the Feywild and the mortal realm where Ley Lines on the two planes intersect, and so created huge fortresses around the portals to protect their homeland.
Half Elves (Peredrin) are children of elves and humans. Accepted by neither culture, Half Elves are often solitary and nomadic.
Drow (Sauradrin) are Elves banished to the world below for betraying their patron god Aeradil and worshipping Zanatos the god of death.
