Proudmoore Kingdom
Established in the middle of the continent, this land has a temperate climate with forests, hills and rivers being abundant. This land is ruled by a rotating monarchy whose that changes by the house. The Queen Leona Goldengrain of the House of the Mouse, has decreed a portion of the land surrounding the Precipice, a large mountain where the champions signed the pact, free to all people of Thrune to come and settle. The Proudmoore Kingdom is prone to storms and lightning strikes, which can make travel dangerous; however the nation is looking into harnessing this electrical energy. The Beast-folk nation is the most adamant about honoring the pact, some say because they are surrounded by the other nations, others because their champion was a vocal voice for unity among the people of Thrune, and is still revered in the nation to this day. The nation has many different types of forests and specializes in wood cutting, carpentry and lumber production; partially because the lightning strikes can make wielding metal armor or weapons dangerous. The Proudmoore Kingdom is also the birthplace of The Covenant, a fledgling religion that worship the Champions as their gods, and view the pact as religious scripture. Proudmoore Kingdom is governed by noble houses each represented by a different beast, the houses rotate which holds the throne on a cycle, the king or queen comes from the house whose turn it is on the cycle. The other houses still have a say in the government, and there are 9 in total, the House of the Lion, House of the Wolf, House of the Bear, House of the Mouse, House of the Badger, House of the Seal, House of the Mole, House of the Bat, and House of the Possum. Each house faciliates different parts of the government as well as represents the citizens that identify as members of their house. that The people of Proudmoore take great pride in their nation, and are eager to prove it.
