Halls of Illumination

The Halls of Illumination is the embodiment of the accumilated knowledge and pride of the Valdurian empire. nowhere else in the known world is more knowledge gathered in one place.
In one part of the huge building complex the Amdrasa Wizard Academy holds its lectures. Non-members can attend the lectures on other topics than magic for a fee.
In the central part of the complex the teleportation nexus is located. The nexus is a transport network for the very rich and influential members of Valduria.
Apart from this, there are halls after halls of books and scrolls from all over the world. Rooms for private reading and writing. Members of the wizard academy can get acces to ritual rooms and alchemy lab ecuipment.

Architecture

White sandstone with golden chromed inlays. Huge roof domes and towers. polished wood with a red tint for the book-cases and other wooden details.
