Transmission & Vectors

The Cybernetic virus which creates Kasposoe within the Jaskrol is known as "Kasperio". It is a hybrid illness which infiltrates Jaskrol immune systems through their synchronism arrays, which are primarily used for mass data sharing, debriefing, and interrogations. Being cyborg insectoids, this common procedure is comparable to humans writing and reading reports or footage. Unfortunately, it is also very hard to sterilize, and the risk of spreading the illness is very high unless screening is done beforehand. It is not helped by the fact that the hivemind of the Kasposoe wishes to grow and often implants sleeper data into those they encounter to promote such.

Causes

The origin of the Kasperio Virus is believed to be caused by a firmware mutation within hardware from the now defunct Irizaros Corporation, which produced low teir, low quality Parts and enhancements near the beginning of the Jaskrol's journey into Cybernetics. Based on its behavior, it must have originally been an attempt to bypass early immune system limiters, and promote faster bodily acceptance in adult Jaskrol who underwent post-pupation augmentation. It does this by overwriting neighboring firmwares and Cybernetic limiters to cause the body of an infected individual to mutate in varying ways, from becoming larger and stronger, to slimming down and even losing legs. The effects are relatively random, and in the process, much of the individual's mind is slowly destroyed by the process, and eventually manifests an open connection in search for others with the same "glitch".
