Three Colleges

In a world where the advancement of magic replaced that of technology three massive institutes of learning and industry have come to the forefront of nearly every facet of life. These are the three great colleges of magic, each with their own specialty that has shaped the world with their fantastic discoveries.   Biogenesis: A college of magic relating to the study and creation of living creatures. From simple insects that feed on and recycle waste into valuable materials to great skyscrapers grown from the earth like a massive tree, biogenesis seeks to solve all problems with a custom fit organic being to fill whatever role is needed.   Reanimation: A college of magic that deals in life after death. They use their skills in repairing corpses and binding souls back into their bones to cure death itself! Through their efforts death is no longer permanent and, for the right price, anyone can be made into a near immortal, lifeless creature that subsists on the mysterious Black Blood that only reanimators can produce.   Metallurgy: A college of magic that deals in the manipulation of metals to create splendid machines that are shaped and powered by their sorcery. Great airships fly overhead, mechanical servants answer to the every need of their owners, and fiery engines of war billow out streaks of lightning and fire all thanks to the meticulous work of these arcane mechanists.   All three have contributed to the world and civilization in amazing and terrifying ways. Yet as they delve deeper into the mysteries of the magical what they find may threaten the very world they hoped to improve.
