Thrasmarr

Thrasmarr: a continent of chaos and disarray.   Twenty-five years ago, a being known only as the Avatar of Suffering arose from the dark to lay waste to the continent. With no heroes to stop it, the world seemed powerless, doomed to destruction at the hands of the demon from below.   Until mortalkind turned to the dragons.   It took five of them, the last and only ancients, to begin imprisoning the creature. Red, blue, green and white combatted the beast across the skies, equally matched in power. An ancient shadow dragon, Fellreign, was the key to victory, and it was his final blow that ensured the Avatar was imprisoned deep within the earth, guarded and held back by the ancient dragons that jailed it.   Yet still, a return to civilization will not be easy. The wildlands are populated by the spawn of the Avatar of Suffering: the dead walk once more, and they walk alongside things that were not meant to walk upon this Plane. The Evermore Woods grow still, engulfing the towns and cities that are not already inside of it and assailing them with its spawn: the stealthy, vigilant, and ravenous orcs. The unscathed land that remains is claimed by a fearsome warlock known only as the Dragon Emperor, said to wield the last vestiges of draconic power and known to rule with an iron fist.   The world is filled with monsters, and danger lurks at every turn. With no choice but to adventure, you are left with a singular question: What will you do?
