Thor'zhaal

A Crimson star wages over the never-ending lands of sand and rocks. An entire world of deserts and nothingness: almost no rivers, no lakes, no seas, no greenlands, no trees at the horizon. A dull and dry air runs wild over the golden land of Thor'zhaal and the wind shapes the dunes and the mountains. This world has never known the mercy of the spring and the gentle kiss of snow or rain; to survive, people had to find water high in the mountains, deep in the treacherous earth, beneath your feet. Heat that burns your face off, sandstorms that can erase villages like dust in the wind and unforgiving, famelic creatures that lie in the wild desolation. Only the Ma'hran coasts are fertile and filled with plants and trees, but noone dares to venture over the open seas, as tremendous and vile mounstrosities lie beneath the water and the misty horizon. Mother Nature itself seems dead by a long shot, living her young and naive children to pitiless Fate. But one day, a drop fell from the sky, wetting the face of a Man, following more and more untill it rained down on the people of Thor'zhaal...
