Clockwork County

The clockwork county is a place that holds many ruins of a previous civilization and odd, giant cogs that spur out of the ground and for the longest time lay still. What legacy they left behind other than crumbling architecture was not apparent, until a group of adventures discovered a platform leading to an underground city. In this underground city, they discovered a large array of intricate metal statues with the appearance of many of the races that can be found in this part of the world. Humans, Dragonborns, Elves, Gnomes, and even Teiflings. However due to the clockwork being powered up again, the humanoid constructs attacked the trespassing fleshy races and thus a war broke out between the constructs and the kingdom of Candlelight. Eventually peace was made between the two factions, giving rise to a new city, people, and new technologies such as firearms, and clockwork contraptions such as, watches, brass horses and clock towers.
