Session 2: Mysteries Abound Report

General Summary

Dan threw a rock and distracted the Lampad Antiophes, then the party confronted the lampad and learned it was attempting to capture an Eidolon that was hiding in the sarcophogus of Orestes. Gwendolyn pushed the lid off the sacrophogus and started a chase to capture a ghost-like creature that is the escaped memories and emotions of Varyas. The party helped him escape the Lampads and as they climbed out of the tomb, they came face-to-face with a large minotaur woman with a snake hood, a large sword and a wolf made of bronze standing at her feet. As this female was approaching to search them for magical or divine artifacts they recovered from the tomb, the river came crashing over them and washed them away. Floating next to them in the river was a large severed head of a hydra. The party washed up on the shore a day North of Meletis and Dan was missing. The eidolon recognized the mask Kevin was wearing and says he can unravel its secrets if he's given some time to analyze it.
