Sanctum of Veracity

Purpose / Function

The Sanctum of Veracity holds the largest known library in all of Theatrum as well as the council of the seer's of Obyn.

Alterations

Since the building's construction, no changes have been made to its design. It was crafted, with the intention of old knowldge being shared and new knowledge being called forward.

Architecture

A temple, circular in shape with polished marble walls that curve inwards stands before the streets of Mart. The many doors to the temple have the face of a fox looking down upon those that enter. The Sanctum of Veracity is divided by four rings, with entry becoming increasingly difficult as you move inward. The first ring hold the largest public library in all of Theatrum. Books on histories, maths, languages, arts, crafts, can all be found within the shelves but many struggle and find themselves lost among the three story tall book cases and ever expanding knowledges. T The second ring hold the schools. The Sanctum of Veracity holds many different educations including craftsman schools, minor educations, .... but no magician schools. The sanctum discourages any magics done with out divine powers but still holds all that knowledge of it. Within the third ring, younger members of the clergy learn their teachings. The forth ring, known as the inner sanctum, holds the All Seers and their council. None other than the seers have seen the courts. A small room within the center of the Sanctum of Veracity hold the All Seer of Obyn's office. Surrounded by knowldge and learning, it is said that this is the place that the voice of Obyn can be most clearly heard. Within the temple walls, lies the greatest known library on Theatrum. Books, schools, and tombs that are known to the public can be found on all the shelves.
