Warping Pad

A warping pad is a device that transports people by warping space around them. These warping pads are found throughout every city and town. These appear to be multi colored cylindrical disks that extrude a few inches from the ground and the perimeter edge is sloping at a 40 degree angle for easier access. The diameter varies depending on how populated the surrounding area is and how many people use it on a given basis. There is a control panel on north side to control where people will get warped to and solar panels above the pad to power the station and to act as cover from the rain. Each warping pad there are two levels, the bottom one is for people who is warping to another location and the top is for people that are warping in. The solar panel that is on top is circular and turns on two axes to point towards the sun and there are smaller solar panels that are only a few inches to a foot in length and width. These smaller solar panels hang onto the bigger solar panel on the side and are aimed outward at a 45 degree angle.
