the bends

A few days after someone comes back from going through puberty, the person will go through what is known as the "Bends" and what happens is that the ATP in the body triples, mitochondria quadruples, and the red blood cell count in the body doubles. During this time, the body goes through the process to make sure that all is well in the body and that the changes made from puberty have been done successfully. Sadly, people seem to bounce off of the walls during this time... which strangely makes for some good set crew.
