Session 5

General Summary

The session began with the party finishing the night off in the camp, and starting the day helping the refugees pack up their camp and return to their town. Noticing the children, Leon took it upon himself to brighten the spirits of the group by preforming a thrilling gymnastics routine. It was wildly successful, and it brighten the spirits of the refugees before they began their trek back home.   The party continued their travels, until, perhaps expectedly, Leon found a scroll. And despite Kallo's warnings, Leon opened the scroll. And this scroll wasn't intended for Leon. It was intended for someone who crossed the writer, so, Leon fell in a pit, and had to jump out.   So, while traveling along their path through the woods, a storm began a-brewin', and the party began to face some bad weather. Before long, they were forced to find shelter by leaving the main road. This short search lead them to a door that was mysteriously parallel to the ground, and the party opened it only to find themselves in an oddly-magical and poorly-trapped dungeon.   Navigating the dungeon's shoddily-managed traps, as well as some blatantly-obvious deadly ones, the party eventually found themselves at the mouth of an underground lake, where they had a... rather emotional discussion with a very flippant water genie that seemed to know more than she should be capable of knowing.   After provoking Wyndi into an attack, which seemed to please the genie greatly, the genie decided to share information with the party...   The genie revealed to Wyndi that she is in fact this supposed "summer child", however the origins of this name were not revealed. Kallo also learned how he came to be the fabled Kallo, and that his parents have been closer than he thought all along... and that his parents sired more than just him. And Leon... got very wet as the water genie retaliated against his attitude.   The genie left the party with a promise of safe passage within the cavern, a warm campfire, and with a door out of the cavern, should they decide to use it.
