The World Reborn

The World Reborn is a vast land arising from the ashes of a catastrophic event known as "The Shattering." The world was once whole, one land, but it was split into many different continents after the gods could no longer live in harmony with each other. Since the entire world would not worship all of them equally, they separated the lands into realms and kingdoms that would worship/recognize their gods accordingly. This transition was not intended to be malicious, but the immense power it took to divide the land had repercussions. Cultures have forgotten one another, governments have become corrupt, and some lands have even become less profitable and fruitful than others and are beginning to wither away.   The creator of everything is the guardian that Dralossle recognizes. He basically made all of the other gods (equivalent to angles in a sense) to help aid his people and creation. These are the gods that split the land.   There is also the Shadai (essentially the devil). Not much is known about him, but it is commonly known that he had corrupted the old King of Kal’Dralei, and as a result, there are a lot of people who still bear animosity to Kal’Dralei and rightly blame King Vonn for much of the events of the past war.   The old champions defeated Vonn and cut off the connection to the Shadai, but the aftermath of the war still remains.   In addition to conflict with the tribes of the Broken Isles, there are creatures known as the Jotnar that have begun to attack villages in Kal’Dralei. (They’re creatures of Norse mythology— huge blue giants that were enemies of the gods.)
