Motorized Cart

Self-propelled carts whose motors run due to both mechanical technology and cleverly done human magic. They are still fairly novel and only those who can afford them are able to have them. Lord Watorej, for example, has an entire garage dedicated to his motorized carts, and Nadin worked there for a time as a mechanic.

Power Generation

The one required piece of magic in a motorized cart is a small wheel enchanted so that it will spin, powering the motor. In some motorized carts, the enchantment on this wheel is sensitive to the nearness of levers controlled by the driver, which allow the driver to start the engine, change speed, and stop. In others, the levers themselves are enchanted to affect the wheel's spin. Either way, the result is a cart that runs on its own and can be controlled without the use of magic. So long as the enchantments match well enough with power, the motorized cart will operate without any trouble from its magical components.
Aside from this, fancier motorized carts also have electricity, also generated by the wheel's spinning, powering lights.
