History
Huffington Academy of the Arts was founded by Apollo Huffington and his witch wife, Roseanne Huffington specializing in music magic who came to Clare Point View during the early 1950s. They wanted to build a school that provides the city’s culture and arts, making the city lively to visitors. The school in the past was considered a prime example of a harmonic community where Supernaturals and Outsiders can be at peace since the school formally accepted students regardless if the perspective students are Supernaturals or Outsiders. However, in 1985, Phillip Huffington the grandson of the couple was the last Supernatural principal had to step down from his position due to tensions from the parent community and the public’s negative attitudes toward Supernaturals. The school had a change of leadership then moved towards to ban Supernaturals from being admitted into the school and the remaining ones had to drop out. HAFA’s school culture began to change despite the protests from students that didn’t want to lose their Supernatural classmates over politics. All evidence of the school having Supernatural students or Alumni were destroyed or not mentioned by the staff. Despite not admitting Supernatural students, many supernaturals secretly auditioned for the school over the years without disclosing their identity. Over the next decades, the school had been brought by many investors until it was brought by a wealthy man named Chris Castillo as he became the principal in 2009. No one knows too much about this man other than he seemed to be “invested” to return the school to its former “greatness”.
