Episode L032: A Joint Quest Pt. 2

General Summary

Malanroot Tower

Pointerday, the 14th day of Frost, 4078

The second of two gargoyles attacks the party during the night, but when it sees that Hasdraek is among the party members, it scarpers.
The group reach the roof of the tower and do battle with a wyvern whom they slay, but not before the wyvern eats one of the sheep and a second sheep gallops, panicked, over the edge of the tower.
Placing the The Blackstone on the focal point of the summoning circle, the party is sent, sheep and all, into the dark End Realm.
There they see the creature they are trying to save, an Ender Dragon, shackled to the ground, but they cannot reach it, try as they might.

The Dark Realm

Thumbday, the 15 day of Frost, 4078

Finally, after a full day of trying, Hasdraek tries to misty step closer to the dragon. This has the effect of breaking the spell that held them in place, and soon, Briaca and Gabe join Hasdraek on his approach to the dragon.
Suddenly a presence emerges from the shadows, it’s Anzodarin. It is he who had captured the dragon. He unleashes four Owlbear on the party. They fight the owlbears off and finally slay Anzodarin. The dragon is released from his bonds
Anzodarin’s spellbook falls into Briaca’s possession.
The party cast the Plane Shift spell, held on a scroll given to them by Father Torien LeFour. They return to Gimblestone with the carcasses of the four owlbear.
Gabe teaches Aofred LeMee how to farm with bonemeal before leaving Gimblestone and returning to his quest to find his Father.
