Episode L019: The Battle for Gimblestone, Pt. 3

General Summary

The battle rages on. Hasdraek Deepbrand, Duurth, Estival and the halflings face off against a growing number of enemy. Three Illithid take the field and swiftly render Marigold Knotwise and Drogo Whitherspoon unconscious with their concentrated mind blasts.
Enemies beset the heroes on every side. Illithids and Quaggoth from the west, human thralls from the north and south. Estival and Duurth back away, knowing they could die if exposed to those powerful mind blasts. Then a burst of energy from the middle of the square sends shockwaves and snow flying in every direction. When the dust settles, eight Githzerai stand at the ready, and jump into battle against the illithid.
