An active and powerful celestial being whose lineage hails from a now extinct race of astral angels, Mortalis’ angelic form is often depicted in a sullen manner with twisted, black-tarnished silver armor over a serpentine green robe emblazoned with his sigil. **Mortalis exults in sacrifice, defiance, and wrath**. One of three angelic commanders who fell from grace during the Chaos War, Mortalis is often linked with rebellions and civil uprisings but also has a strong connection to those of celestial or abyssal lineages who are slighted by society. Generally associated with hardened, guerrilla warriors, though any who are willing to sacrifice for their goals, defy those who would seek to control them, and bring wrath upon those who have condemned them can readily follow Mortalis.
