The World of Secret Life

Millions upon millions of years ago, the sun-god Sol and the moon-goddess Lun locked eyes for the first time. Their union made the dead galaxy around them spring into life, and they birthed the three First Deities: Gaia, the herald of creation, Ares, the harbinger of destruction, and Lucira, the bringer of life and sentience.   Gaia, the mistress of ideas and craft, created a beautiful planet, which she populated with plants, creatures, spirits of divine essence, and eventually human beings. She and her siblings had been birthed to channel their Mother and Father's energy into life and balance, but the three developed fierce rivalry between one another - Gaia's brother Ares wrought destruction and brought death to the world, and little sister Lucira rebelled against her divine family gifting the humans a morsel of divine power - that which came to be known as Magic. Gaia fought to reconcile the three, but alas her attempts were futile, and their everlasting battle formed the cycle of life and death and the forces that reconcile the natural and supernatural. Eventually Sol and Lun bore their fourth child, the god of order and civilisation Solannus, and the world began to grow and develop as humans grew more intelligent every day. The gods faded into obscurity... but the consequences of their actions will bear on the world forever.   But our story begins much smaller, in a small English town shrouded in river mists, on a lonely street where a little girl sneaks out to the meadows... what will she find there? What secrets of this wild world will her secret life reveal?
