Calderian Culture

[Disclaimer]: The Following Article is a short stub, to provide important information regarding the basics of the Calderian people, it is not to be taken as a proper guide like other culture articles, and anything written here is subject to change. Further Writing for this Article is dependent on the long-term existence of the Calderians as a culture within the world and my willingness to write about them, this stub article exists for the sake of RP.

Overview

When the Forzorian Empire came to what is Modern Grenze, the region was sparsely populated, with what signs of civilization there was being centered around the Calderian River Valley, loosely organized in a confederation of city states and smaller communities, the Calderian civilization could not stand up against the overwhelming might of the Empire, and within a generation the region was integrated into the Empire as the March of Grenze. Following the Annexation of Calderia, large waves of Forzorian Settlement would take place, with the land west of the Calderian River seized by the Crown and distributed to settlers and families ennobled for their role in the wars to take over the region.
On the Eastern Side of the River, the Calderian people continued to exist, but over the centuries would see their culture, religion and language slowly supplanted by that of the Forzorians, and while they would never become fully integrated like many other people groups, the Calderians would come to share a similar status to that of the New Bir, a mostly integrated people group that remain somewhat distinct from the wider Imperial Forzorian Population.
Calderians follow a basic Given Name and Family Name convention, and while for years Forzorian name were the primary given names, with older Calderian family names being in use, recent cultural revivals have seen many Calderian given names seeing a rapid rise in popularity, along with a general rebirth in Calderian Language and worship in their Monotheistic Goddess the Madre del entendimiento, or Mother of Understanding, and while such religious revival remains on the fringe, there exists a real chance for the Calderian people to once again reclaim their heritage and become a distinct people once again fully separate from that of the Forzorians.
