The World of Eldara

The World of Eldara is a Medium-Magic Fantasy World. There are no Humans or Earth-native animals on Eldara. It is instead populated by its own array of species, both magical and mundane in nature.   Eldara is currently in a struggle with the forces of a powerful, dark entity. Blight infects the majority of the land, a creeping sickness that infects and mutates anything it touches. Very few places remain untouched by the Blight; these locations are sanctuaries for the people of Eldara. However, the Blight is relentless and it endlessly claws at the boundaries of these havens.   Our story starts in Sailara; a small territory nestled between towering mountains and the sea. A magical barrier extends around the valley, keeping it safe from most Blight threats. In recent years, however, signs of the Blight have begun to bleed through, and the centerpiece of Sailaryn society, The Mother Tree, exhibits signs of sickness. Rumors have begun to spread among the people and fear festers like a disease.   Will these rumors destroy your way of life, or will you seek your own truth?
