Lizard People

An overtly warlike race of reptilians who defacto rule the Akgaf Ziv region.

Basic Information

Anatomy

Their skin has spots of all colors that at one time depicted distinct bloodlines. At this time, most of the common folk have intermingled enough that one color or another does not mean anything except for those with purple spots, which depict the royal line of the lizard folk. Males have prominent spikes on their shoulders and spine, ranging from 8-16+" long, while females spikes range from 3-6" long. They have mostly prehensile tails that can be used to trip or even grasp by some of the more agile Lizards. They have long claws and sharp teeth.

History

It is said in their religion and history that the Lizard People were gifted this region and this land by their gods. Most will take serious offense at any notion otherwise. There is abundant evidence of a species of people that predated the Lizard People in this region known as the Leporah who have since been wiped out.
