The Mysterium
Structure
the organization is divided by degrees with there being five. there is only one first degree member at a time. the other jobs are a Censors who's job it is to keep dangerous lore secret and then Curators who's job it is to preserve that knowledge. Most of the time mysterium mages have little to no contact with one another favoring to seek out and study on their own.

History
The mysterium always sort of existed with most mysterium mages at first claiming the title to keep other mages off their back but, around the 1400s the order came together and officially set up it's own system.
