Storm's Eye

The hollowed innards of a long dead oceanic volcano, this perfectly defended harbor hides the hardly secret pirate paradise of Dreg's Cay, where the buccaneer can rest and refit without fear. Because of it's isolation and decent soil it harbors a surprisingly large population. The families and slaves of Pirates all over the Western Sea live throughout this bitter island. While fortuitously warm currents pass it's northern latitude brings to it devastating winters and chilly summers. It is a tough land, perpetually on the brink of disaster.
