Personal history

Admiral Argo whet his teeth battling pirates in the bitter Frigid Sea for several years. A survival of three lost battles, many see him as a cursed man, others believe him to be blessed by the gods.
In 760 then Captain Argo was promoted to Admiral of the Northern Fleet. Based in Porto Marina, this fleet's primary purpose was to repel pirate and mong-karr raids, a job which Admiral Argo found himself well suited.
In 771 Admiral Argo helped defend Porto Marina against Dark Sea forces, but lost nearly half his fleet and men. Admiral of a humbled fleet, Argo noticed that one private vessel with a curious set of water wheels at it's side could move faster than any ship on the seas. This vessel and it's crew were able to fight in ways once thought impossible. Admiral Argo approached these adventurer's about joining the Tempestan Navy as a privateer.
